About this Speaker

Tarek is a social entrepreneur with a BSBA from Georgetown and an MBA with honors from New York University. Previously in his career, he provided strategic leadership within world-leading healthcare and financial services organizations such as Goldman Sachs in New York and London. While the corporate world had its benefits, Tarek increasingly felt called to explore the actual world - not just to find himself, but to create himself.

Throughout his journey, Tarek chased three big dreams to reach before his 40th birthday: to explore 100 countries to fuel his soul, run 25 marathons to challenge his body, and to create a social enterprise to expand his mind as well as his heart.

Now, he is currently focused on growing the impact of his social enterprise called Nomads Giving Back! with the vision to inform, inspire and empower you to give back to the communities you call ‘home away from home.' Its goal is to help solve the problem "I'd like to give back, but I don't know how" and serve as a bridge between foreigners and local communities through social causes. Tarek and our global tribe welcome anyone who believes in our vision of inspiring social impact to get involved and join the movement!
