Joana Correia

Joana Correia is a type designer and lives in Porto. She works remotely and as a freelance since 2011, always with her dog at his side. In 2018 he founded his own type foundry where she distributes her typefaces. Developed fonts for companies like Google, Monotype, Indian Type Foundry and others. She was distinguished with the Type Directors Excellence Award from Type Directors in New York in 2019. She collaborates as a project manager with the company Schriftlabor Font Services since January 2020. She is also a ‘raven’, having attended altMBA33 in 2019. She practices Pilates and loves personal development, minimalism and the zero waste movement.
